Play For Hope is a common vision comprised of Play For Hope - US and Play For Hope - Rwanda.  They are two distinct organizations that work through a mutual understanding to achieve their goals. Whereas they share website space, their involvement together is in no way to be understood as one having authority over the other, but rather to express this common vision.

Beckman Brian - US Executive Director

Rwandan Committee 

Kanamugire Fidele Serieux -  Serieux has trained and ministered to street children through sports since 2001.  He has an English FA Level 1 Certification in football coaching and has completed Level 4 Sport Leadership training in Ethiopia.

Gisanura Christian - Christian is the founder of Salut Pour Tous Ministries (translates to Salvation For All Ministries).  He has a degree in sociology and is a pastor of Restoration Church Kimihurura.

Muyenzi Diedonne - Diedonne has coached soccer teams for five years. 

Niyonkuru Elvis - Elvis played basketball  at the Rwandan district level.  He is in his second year law school and has coached basketball in primary and secondary schools. 

Ndori Jimmy - Jimmy has played basketball at the First Division Level.  He is currently in university and is coaching basketball at the secondary school level.

Vestine Shami - Shami has a BA in Social Science and currently works for SIT World Learning.

US Board of Directors

Brian Beckman - Board President - Brian is the Founder of Play For Hope and has a background in sports medicine including holding postions at Duke Medical Center and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Don Brenneman - Board Vice President - Don has worked for Sports Outreach Institute for 13 years focusing primarily in East African countries.  He currently serves as the Director of New Program Development.

Cory Hand - Board Secretary/Treasurer - He has coached club and high school level soccer for nine years and specializes in soccer curriculum.  In addition he spent 7 years as a Director of Youth Ministry with Young Life and served on their Wilsonville Area board for 1.5 years. 

Play For Hope (US) is a 501(c)3 organization.  Play For Hope (Rwanda) is a legal registered local Rwandan NGO.
