What I Will Be Doing: 

This summer I will be working in June with a team that is promoting injury prevention and health and wellness training for our players.  In July, I will be working with our Rwandan staff to further develop Play For Hope's sustainability in Rwanda as well as continue to improve our work and ministry to our players.  In August, I will be traveling with our coaches and staff to Burundi to participate in an Andrew Palau festival by serving communities and youth through sports. 

 It is also our wish to put on a 3 week tournament for our youth which will provide food for them at each match, give them a platform to show off their skills, and allow them to know that hard work can lead to great results.  In addition it is our wish to share with them lessons in reconciliation, how to discontinue drug use, and about God's incredible love.

Why I Am Going: 

Because God first loved me, so might I love those society has forgotten.
