I was able to visit and watch a practice of our team of street children in Busanza which Serieux coaches. It was amazing to see the boys again and see how healthy they are now compared to last year. Many of the boys have begun learning English and were eager to demonstrate what they had learned for me. It was with great joy that I learned that three of the boys were in vocational training school and more were being prepared through general education to go. It is exciting to see how much they have changed and to see their soccer skills develop. The practice brought in quite a crowd of children to watch (somewhere in the hundreds) making it a little harder to talk to the boys. Still I was extremely joyful to hear of their stories of change and growth since I had last seen them.
