Play For Hope

We had soccer clinics there again yesterday ( the last blog was actually from tuesday...i am behind because of our unreliable internet and because we are so busy :).  We were able to have a bible lesson at the end and to talk with the kids more about what it means to want Jesus in your life and in your heart. The kids were very attentive and seemed to understand that through the son they are united with God, their heavenly father, and in turn they will be given grace, mercy and forgiveness of sin, that they may have eternal life. It was so neat to be able to sit with the kids and reflect with them about what all of this means. I am excited that we still have the rest of the week through Saturday with these kids, but i am even more hopeful that the Rwandan coaches will continue to be a part of their lives and will have the skills and support to mentor these kids and keep up with them on how they are doing for years to come.
